Our Work

Season 3 of the ABC's War on Waste is back, and Good for the Hood is proudly launching a new community toolkit to help local champions take action.

Waste is back on the agenda in a big way. While so much has happened in the last five years, it’s clear Australia; we still have a problem! By letting too many things go to waste, we are paying high environmental costs and missing out on the value of our wasted resources. Now because you’re a savvy citizen, you’ll know that changing anything this big and messy takes many different steps, so we’ve sat down to help you.

ABC’s Fight For Planet A: Our Climate Challenge

Craig Reucassel’s new 2020 documentary really got us hot under the collar. So much so that we jumped on board with ABC TV + iView to build the Our Climate Challenge Action Toolkit as part of the show’s inspiring Community Solutions Plan.

And not only did we create a guide to taking up the climate challenge in neighbourhoods, we went on Radio National to talk about it, held community webinars about it, and linked together with the climate impact change-makers all around Australia.
